India's total positive COVID-19 cases have reached 26,496, as per update by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Sunday. The total number of new positive cases in last 24 hours reached 1990 and 49 deaths.  

The total active cases is 19,868 patients, 5,804 people have been recover, discharged, or migrated and death count reached total 824 so far.

 The central government announced that neighborhood and standalone shops were allowed to resume business from Saturday but red zone or positive cases area’s markets will remain shutting till May 3rd for the national lock-down with COVID-19. The shops will open in only rural areas but malls will stay shut in all places.

The COVID-19 World Updates: Across the world more than 203,289 people killed and total infected more than 2,921,439 active cases. The number of COVID-19 cases in the US is more than the next six countries taken together: Spain (219,764), Italy (192,994), France (159,495), Germany (154,545), United Kingdom (144,635) and Turkey (104,912).
